Sei

Sei needed to move beyond the dry, technical reputation of Layer 1 blockchains and establish a high-energy brand identity. The goal was to launch their new chain with a narrative that felt adventurous and community-focused while still signaling technical dominance and speed.

I worked directly with the founders to translate their technical features into a character-driven brand film. Because we operated as a lean, agile team, I handled the full production cycle from initial concepting to the final delivery.

  • Script & Narrative: Developed a playful "mission-based" script that leaned into the "Sei Whale" brand, framing the launch as a coordinated effort by a specialized crew.

  • On-Location Production: Led a live-action shoot in Puerto Rico, directing the crew across beaches and rented boats to create a cinematic, high-scale visual environment.

  • Full-Stack Post-Production: Managed the final editorial and color grading, ensuring the high-energy "vibe" of the shoot translated into a clear, effective explainer video.

The film served as the flagship visual asset for the Sei launch, successfully bridging the gap between a high-performance technical protocol and an approachable, high-stakes brand identity. The project proved that even deep infrastructure can be presented through a lens of entertainment without losing its professional credibility. Fun fact, I actually named the protocol too!
